After the paint had been Corrected, it was time to Protect it. The owner of this E250 opted for our highest level of paint protection, Gtechniq’s Crystal Serum Light Black treatment which is Gtehniq Crystal Serum Light topped with Gtechniq EXO V3 for a 5 year paint protection guarantee against such things as: Industrial Fallout Bird Droppings Bug Etching Colour Fading Oxidation and more while adding: Superior Gloss Slickness UV Protection Chemical Resistance Excellent Water Repellency and for Ease of maintenance.

In addition to the ceramic paint and wheel coatings, the plastic trim and glass were also coated with the Gtehniq product-line. The plastic trim, such as the rear diffuser, was coated with Getchniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer which chemically bonds to the plastic providing a true satin black appearance as well as protects it from UV and sun fading for up to 2 years. The glass was coated using Gtechniq G1 ClearVision Smart Glass. The glass coating creates a durable transparent layer over the glass providing ultra-hydrophobic properties. With this coating, water beads on the surface of the glass as opposed to sheeting which provides significantly improved visibility in wet weather at low-speed and at speed the water will simply run right off the glass requiring minimal to no windshield wiper use.

The finished product after 30+ hours of hands-on time.
